tiger lilles are the most dramatic summer roadside flower. They seem too important to just be wildflowers. Seeing them against deep green leaves, other bush weeds, lit up in the dappled summer sun, they seem like daylight torches. I created this piece to celebrate this humble but beloved harbinger of summer.
My name is kburke500. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. kburke500 began studies with regional painter Rachel Farrington in 1963. Years later she studied with Cynthia Snow, William E. Parker and Gerard Doudera. Watercolor was her first medium because of its accessibility. Today she uses watercolor, oil, photography and computer graphics to complete creative projects. She has shown at Silvermine, Rowayton Arts Center and with the Greenwich Artists Society.
