The reason I chose the title for this piece is that it reminds me which nude study it is.....
I was trying to draw with the brush, and describe positive and negative space.
drawing from life is a neverending process to keep seeing form and being able to control what you do. I never feel like I am going to be good at it, but the only way to change anything is to keep working at it.
My name is kburke500. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. kburke500 began studies with regional painter Rachel Farrington in 1963. Years later she studied with Cynthia Snow, William E. Parker and Gerard Doudera. Watercolor was her first medium because of its accessibility. Today she uses watercolor, oil, photography and computer graphics to complete creative projects. She has shown at Silvermine, Rowayton Arts Center and with the Greenwich Artists Society. Samples of her work can be seen at: burkedesign.biz and burkedesign.net/paintings/ kburke500@gmail
