I completed my first painting when I was 7 and haven't stopped painting since. I graduated from Andrews University with a Bachelors of Fine Art, but learned the most about art and myself through life experiences and deliberate practice. My artistic process is probably not so different from most artists. I tend to work in spurts. I usually have 4 to 6 paintings in production. I try to complete one to two very strong pieces a week. I try to spend time everyday working on my techniques, challenging myself and studying art. I paint every day. I try to push myself to be better every day. I am a strong believer in deliberate practice and I try to spend at least 3 to 4 hours a day creating.
