To me, dreams are like sailing. They rise and fall with the rhythm of the waves. They are carried on the wind and move silently through the night. Gliding with great speed or simple drifting across glass. Motion of a Midnight Dream is the time between sunset and mornings first light. It is a dream in all of it simple beauty.

Motion of a Midnight Dream is 12 x 9" on 140 lb, cold press, watercolor paper. It is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.

I completed my first painting when I was 7 and haven't stopped painting since. I graduated from Andrews University with a Bachelors of Fine Art, but learned the most about art and myself through life experiences and deliberate practice. My artistic process is probably not so different from most artists. I tend to work in spurts. I usually have 4 to 6 paintings in production. I try to complete one to two very strong pieces a week. I try to spend time everyday working on my techniques, challenging myself and studying art. I paint every day. I try to push myself to be better every day. I am a strong believer in deliberate practice and I try to spend at least 3 to 4 hours a day creating. The rest as it turns out is the business of art, marketing, sales, shipping, following up and answering emails. Some day’s art is the easy part.
