Curator's Note: A cluster of fallen and strewn items, we see how strikingly art can capture the beauty in chaos.

"Taste of Italy" was created during my senior year of high school in 2013. This was an assignment where the main focus was to create a still life with our own acrylic black paint that was mixed ourselves. I call this piece a "Taste of Italy" because the wine bottles, vines, and grapes remind me of the vineyards found in Italy.

My name is Kathleen Spezzano. I'm currently in my final semester of college where i have been studying equine business and illustration. I've been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. The arts has always been one of my greatest passions and has always been a major part of my life. Being able to create and form the ideas in my head into beautiful paintings brings me great joy and satisfaction.
