Size: 10.5"W x 7.5"H x 0.1"D
Year Created: 2015
Created for an exhibition I was part of in 2014 in Fort Worth, TX. Fort Worth is known as "Cowtown" and hosts a Stock Show and Rodeo every year which inspired the imagery. The landscape depicts the far, and hard to get to, South West of Texas.
This is an original screen print on paper, limited edition of 50. It is signed, titled and numbered and dated on front of print.
Due to the nature of the screen printing process, buyers should note that prints may vary slightly from that shown on screen. This does mean that each print in the edition is unique and each print is printed by hand.
My practice is focused on screen printing techniques and my work is fueled by an interest in the identity of place. I aim to provide a unique perception and understanding and offer a composite of real and imagined places. I am an award winning artist currently living in North Texas, USA. I received my Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 2007, concentrating in Graphic Design, at C.W. Post College/Long Island University, in New York. From 2009-2011 I studied at The School of Visual Arts’ Continuing Education program in New York City until I moved to London to develop my printmaking practice full time. In 2012 I received a Masters degree with Merit at Camberwell College of Art/University of the Arts London in printmaking. In 2013 I was granted a month long printmaking Artist Residency at the Women’s Studio Workshop in New York, USA. My work has been exhibited regularly in London, at Art Fairs and exhibitions, and is currently exhibited in Hong Kong, London and the United States.
