Inspired by my love of experimentation, use of random color and mark making. I try to utilize painting as an outlet to materialize experience and feelings jubilantly onto the canvas or paper. An admirer said "Looking at her work is like getting a flirty wink. Youthful shapes that engage the eye and emit a sweet, and sometimes sassy, feminine tone".

I am greatly influenced by the abstract expressionist movement of the mid 20th century. Favorite artists from that era are: Richard Diebenkorn, Mark Rothko and Joan Mitchell.

I am a self-taught abstract artist who was born and raised in New Orleans but now resides in Lafayette, LA. Past events and shows: Group exhibit and fair - The Big Easel, Lafayette, LA – 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014.
