Ready to Hang

The reason I chose the title for this piece ...well it's all in the beholder eyes some see a lamp or a vase or a Egyptian funeral urn, some may see a face or two. I see life flexing its muscles pulsing and mixing and thrumming to existence. It's all up to interpretation....

I created this piece over a month period there are actually five different painting underneath but I never felt drawn to any of them once completed so I just started over.

My inspiration in creating this piece the center initial statement of orange and black which were two colors picked blindly and I created around it using different types of textures and overlays. Also I started the initial first paint stroke listening to "tomorrow never comes" by Zac brown band, then finished it on repeat.

This piece is on Gallery wrapped / back stapled heavy duty archival quality canvas, wood frame profile. Professional frame construction with kiln-dried beveled stretcher bars, and The edges are painted lamp black.

This is actually two separate paintings each 15.5 W/ 20 H so they can be hung with any creative means the buyers chooses.
A UV-resistant gloss varnish has been applied to help protect and preserve the artwork. This is 100% original work and not a print, furthermore no copies will ever be produced. The piece will be signed upon purchase, and include a gift or as I call it "the pieces growth"

I was born and raised in Corona Del Mar, surrounded by the artistic world that is Southern California. I never ended up going to school for art as sometimes life changes directions. I did find however that painting had chased me and caught up reminding me that once it's in your heart you can never leave it. So I began to create.....
