Ready to Hang
A lighter side of me in this work, which is hard I don't normally do airy soft pieces, but I broke out my water colors and tested myself. A true test to any artist is pushing past what their personal artistic boundaries are and just try. So with watercolor I found myself At peace...and like a great Brahms masterpiece I just let my ink and brush move with the music creating their own rhythm and tone. No pre meditated ideas or strokes I just allowed it to breath from my soul.
This piece is on Gallery back stapled heavy duty archival quality canvas, wood frame profile. Professional frame construction with kiln-dried beveled stretcher bars.
The edges re not painted and I left some of the canvas edge blank for contrast.

I was born and raised in Corona Del Mar, surrounded by the artistic world that is Southern California. I never ended up going to school for art as sometimes life changes directions. I did find however that painting had chased me and caught up reminding me that once it's in your heart you can never leave it. So I began to create.....
