Theresa was a beautiful black and white pit bull who I met when I was her caregiver at the sanctuary. I adopted her and we enjoyed 13 months together before her cancer took her. She was an amazing ambassador of the pit bull breed, greeting everyone with a smile. When she was at the sanctuary she was best known for carrying a cuz ball around in her mouth. She was featured in an episode of Dogtown on National Geographic, because she had chewed the feet off of the cuz ball, and needed exploratory surgery. Volunteers would send her cuz balls, minus the feet. She was loved by many, especially me.

Capturing the beauty that surrounds me is my passion. I am an artist who works mostly in Adobe Illustrator, designing illustrations for t-shirt designs and fundraisers. I donate my art to rescues for auctions to raise money for medical and transport expenses. I am also a photographer who loves to photograph the variety of desert flowers and amazing landscapes in the area. I love photographing the many rescue dogs who come into my life, helping to promote them for adoption. My photographs were published in the book “The Pit Bull Life : A Dog Lover’s Companion”. A cause near and dear to my heart, advocating for the bully breeds. I submit photos to the local paper, the Southern Utah News. I enjoy creating art with my illustrations and my photography.
