A self portrait rendered for the Stateshifter collection, a series of paintings that strive to articulate the fluctuation of emotional states, like the flickering of an antiquated analogue television screen with poor reception. The painting itself is layered over a different self portrait from an older set of paintings, the Introspector collection. Layers from the original can still be seen, implying transition between alternative trains of thought.
