La Revolucion was a site-specific installation on display in Chicago from May to September in 2015. It was described as a life sized comic-style exhibit created by positioning paintings on the walls of a gallery like panels in a comic book, inviting the audience member to read an original story by walking throughout the gallery.

Nathaniel Nester Espinoza, nicknamed "Nath-Nes," was the third of the four main characters produced for the show. Each character was designed to pay homage to a particular genre of pop culture. In this case, Nathanel Nester represented the world of video games, as an homage to Ness, from Nintendo's SNES hit "Earthbound."

The character portraits were designed to blend elements of my traditional portraiture with elements of the graphic novel inspired style in which the installation's paintings were rendered in.
