My inspiration behind Piazza san Pietro was taken from my trip to the Vatican. While I was there, I noticed large amount of tourists, pilgrims, and priests alike roaming the Vatican grounds. Therefore, I wanted to convey the chaos that happens in St. Peter’s Square, while St. Peter’s Basilica holds a soft, yet commanding presence in the sky above, looking down on the people.
My name is Joshua Campbell. I'm an artist from Dallas, TX. My sense of design is influenced by a myriad of travels, thoughts and experiences. I've had a passion for drawing and painting since I was kid, where I would take my sketchbook to the school cafeteria and draw during lunch. There was a good deal of diversity among my sketches, even random at times, ranging from the M&M characters to the skylines of American cities. As I grew up and matured as an art student, I was intrigued by architecture and design field, which led me to The University of Texas at Arlington, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
