Ready to Hang

This is from my UFO series of painting. This artwork is called "Manganese Skies" because Manganese blue was used as the primary color in the painting. This pinging is large 20"x60" and will come framed in a beautiful black wood frame ready to hang and display.

John Padlo was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was exposed to diverse cultures and art. As a child he always admired and was fascinated by artwork, especially paintings by the Renaissance masters. In 1999, his interests became reality when he enrolled at the San Francisco Academy of Art where he extensively studied fine art, attended workshops, and took private lessons from local established artists. In 2005, John moved to Boise, Idaho to further pursue his dream of being a full-time artist, and in 2009 he dramatically changed direction in subject matter. Gone were apples and oranges in baskets, replaced by bold colors, flying saucers, candy, toys, and a touch of nostalgia many connect with.
