This is from my still life series and is 15 years old. So you get an opportunity to purchase something that already has some age to it. Painting will come framed in a beautiful gold american made wood frame that cost me $90.00 alone.
John Padlo was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was exposed to diverse cultures and art. As a child he always admired and was fascinated by artwork, especially paintings by the Renaissance masters. In 1999, his interests became reality when he enrolled at the San Francisco Academy of Art where he extensively studied fine art, attended workshops, and took private lessons from local established artists. In 2005, John moved to Boise, Idaho to further pursue his dream of being a full-time artist, and in 2009 he dramatically changed direction in subject matter. Gone were apples and oranges in baskets, replaced by bold colors, flying saucers, candy, toys, and a touch of nostalgia many connect with.
