Ready to Hang

I've had these boots since I was in college. I bought them after a summer of working in Yellowstone National Park as a hostess/waitress. My roomate called them "Catch me, **** me Boots"
I set them on this bright blue and was inspired by the vibrating and spreading color. They still make me feel like I am 20.

Janet is an award winning, professional fine artist who is passionate about painting. Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, Janet went to High School of Art & Design in NYC. After graduating Pratt with a BFA in painting Janet worked as a graphic designer for major name brand manufacturers in NY creating packaging, catalogs, and websites. Through this period she never stopped painting. Currently Janet is painting events every weekend mainly in the NY tristate area. Her studio has taken over the living areas of the house. Janet serves on the board of directors at the Orange County Arts Council and is an advocate for local arts in her community. She runs a figure drawing group at the Seligmann Center and Milkweed Community space in Sugarloaf, NY. Janet is also passionate about being outdoors, gardening, and cooking.
