I am very excited about these figurative oil pieces. They capture the feeling of shifting light on the body, and that speaks to the constant shifts in my spirit.
I belong to a crit group. We meet once a month, there are between 5-7 women artists who come. We bring what we are working on. I mention this because they recently gave me permission (as if I needed permission) to work on what moved me. It is hard to brand my work. I love many kinds of art, and am capable of painting in several "styles". ... Therefore I am never bored with my art, these shift through my lifetime create a body of work. Thank you for looking.
Painted on Arches archival Oil paper.
