This was a moment in time in Venice, Italy in my early twenties. I was trying to find the Grand Canal but got a little mixed up. While I was trying to find my way back to my route I happened to look down a street and saw a beautiful dome glittering gold in the sunset. I didn't have time to stop inside but the scene burned in my mind as one of the more beautiful moments I've ever witnessed, and I was content in my experience of it, even if it was just for a moment.
Professional visual artist based out of Austin and Dallas, TX. My studio resides in Austin, and I am also a collective member of the oldest living studio in Dallas, the Moon Mansion, and the Con Artist Collective in Manhattan, NY. I create based on surroundings both in reality and my subconscious, existing between realism and surreal. My style is quite expansive in the sense that I do not limit my works within one style, but adopt a style for each piece individually based on the subject matter. I am most inspired by people and the figure, and science fiction/fantasy themes and love to try and challenge the originality of ideas that may have transpired before into a new configuration.
