The title ' 'Shroom Dreams' speaks to the small mushrooms on the lower right, and that the top part almost feels like the light of a sun, but of a sun dripping, which is a bit trippy.
This is an experimental piece in my texture series, the first one using mushrooms. I already have a few more ideas of pieces with mushrooms and molding paste that I may make in the coming months.
I started this piece at an artsy party at my home. So my friends saw me making the base layer with the yellow and blue paint blended. I love the overall effect, the combination of rivulets of paint that look a bit like a stormy sky right before a storm, or eddies when two different bodies of water meet each other.
