A mirrored surface makes three beautiful perfume bottles appear twice as large. Bathing them in bright light creates an almost glowing effect with the clear glass.
Perfume Bottles is an original watercolor painting that I painted on high-quality archival watercolor board and includes an attractive 3” mat. The image size is 10” x 12”.
I enjoy creating paintings of everyday objects I have collected or borrowed from family and friends. Many of these objects were passed down to me through generations and I nostalgically remember seeing many of them in the homes of cherished family members when I was a child. Some of these objects demand to be painted because of their fascinating shapes, colors and transparencies. Many of my original watercolors contain images of glass objects. My fascination with glass and color is the common thread that connects my art.
