My art falls into two categories; realism for my commissions and portraits, and second, my intuitive mystical art for what inspires me. Subjects for my realism has been horses, dogs, and even a few motorcycles for the men.
The mystical art, I wasn’t looking for a change, it found me. Nagged until I finally gave my full attention, and developed into my own style. Inspiration comes entirely from visions, dreams, and intuitive feeling (clairsentience). Vivid colors and unexpected subjects, the painting reveals itself to me as I am creating it. My work is filled with symbolism, sometimes I translate the meaning of the elements into a reading for my client, or if there is no one specific, I just tape a reading onto the back of the piece for the future owner. Sometimes it is just to enjoy the work with no messages involved.
For both styles, as opposite as they are, it is my intention to produce an expression of love of the subject by the commissioned client, and with my mystical work, to give the viewer a feeling of happiness.
I am a self-taught artist from an early age, inspired by my love of horses. I’ve been commissioned for over ten years and appeared in Equine Marketer, County Lines, and Trusts & Estates magazines. Local galleries have displayed my work, and been a part of group shows, as well as a member of local art centers. I am now a college student at Montgomery County Community College, working towards a BFA in Studio Art. Chester County Art Association has offered me a solo upcoming exhibit in November 2018. I enjoy teaching acrylic painting to others to learn just for fun.
