Ready to Hang
When my sisters and I were younger we would sometimes be the first people on the beach in the summer. So early that that mist hadn't even cleared yet and you could feel the wetness in the air. We always got the best spot.
Although Jacquie's formal education was in Business, art has always been a big part of her life and in 2000 she focused on learning to paint. She spent years painting on her own and created smaller plein-air landscapes. This process and self-discipline gave her the best education on light and color. She built upon this knowledge and began creating abstract landscape paintings continuing her focus on color. Her paintings are collected in US, Canada and Europe and she has had prints available in Pottery Barn, Neiman Marcus and TJMaxx. In 2016 she was invited to become a member of Art in Embassies and has a painting included in an exhibit at the residence of the US Ambassador to Monrovia, Liberia.
