I chose the title for this piece because I used it to develop my stenciling technique, and the skull and fire provided for interesting forms that were challenging to create, along with some interesting lighting. I created this piece when I was first developing my stenciling technique. My inspiration in creating this piece while experimenting with lighting effects. A skull seemed excellent for working with highlights and shadows, and how to spray them. This piece was created by spraying spraypaint on top of hand designed and cut stencils.

My name is Jack Sigler. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I am an 18 year old living in Maryland, but originally from Alaska. I've been drawing all my life and I'm now starting to share my art with others. I love working in pencil, colored pencil, acrylic, and spraypaint stenciling. I do mostly landscapes of large and dynamic scenes. I paint the sides of all of my canvases black or white, they do not need to be framed.
