This piece depicts a large city long after some major catastrophe. The main focal point is a survivor of this event, exploring the abandoned, overgrown city. There are signs of the chaos everywhere;abandoned, overturned cars, collapsed buildings, debris everywhere. Out the side of a building grows a large tree, once someone;s house plant. The roofs of buildings hang heavy from the unkempt gardens growing there. The green of the vegetation stands out against the pen, and leads the eye back to the distant skyscrapers in the background. The drawing does come with a removable black mat.
My name is Jack Sigler. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I am an 18 year old living in Maryland, but originally from Alaska. I've been drawing all my life and I'm now starting to share my art with others. I love working in pencil, colored pencil, acrylic, and spraypaint stenciling. I do mostly landscapes of large and dynamic scenes. I paint the sides of all of my canvases black or white, they do not need to be framed.
