Views of Nature 49 is an original, modern art painting from the "Views of Nature" series. The "Views of Nature" series is a collection of small, square 8x8 inch abstract landscape paintings. You can hang them separately, or purchase multiple paintings to create your own custom collection!

This one-of-a-kind mixed-painting was created with acrylic paint, glass and salt on gallery-wrapped canvas. It has a width of 8 inches and a height of 8 inches with a depth of 1.5 inches (8x8x1.5). The painting continues onto the edges of the canvas, creating a finished look so the canvas does not require a frame.

The colors used in this painting are white, light salmon, fuchsia, green, blue, gold,  and gray. The painting has been signed and dated on the back of the canvas.

An archival, UV resistant, gloss varnish has been applied to protect the surface of the painting and a certificate of authenticity will be included.

Thank you!

Hilary Winfield is an award-winning, innovative, contemporary fine artist, creating from both intuition and from the energy and inspiration that she absorbs from the world around her. Originally from Washington, North Carolina, she relocated more than fifteen years ago, awed by the amazing beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Winfield derives inspiration from the elements of the environment and from nature, including many unique aspects; weather, rusting metal, aging wood, water, dilapidated buildings, peeling paint, stones and rocks, the city lights at night. She notices magic everywhere, often in unanticipated places; from the surface of a body of water to the rustic, industrial warehouse floor of a manufacturing facility. The creative process for Winfield involves experimenting with various mediums and methods of infusing texture, iridescence and illumination into her work. Winfield’s art is internationally collected and lends a refreshing and energizing vitality while simultaneously portraying great depth and balance. Winfield has been honored with numerous awards for her artwork.
