Curator's Note: This artist shares her view of Ireland's countryside; notice the flecks of aqua blue that seem to pop out among the colorful field.
This piece is from a collection of work created during a plein air painting holiday in July of 2014 in County Meath, Ireland. Inspired by the beauty of a pasture as the cows came in, on a country road, behind my friend’s childhood home. The lush green landscape of this beautiful country was the subject of many of the paintings I made during the trip.
