This was one of those paintings that does not belong to a series, but soon will.

Science and romance deals with the questions of how to make sure our minds/souls/moral compasses or what ever you want to call our better selves can maintain their integrity as we exist increasingly in two places at once: the internet and in our living breathing lives. This can be exhausting, yet also beautiful. Never before have we lived in an age of so much information, and it is both wonderful and terrifying.

I just recently took down a new collection of art from a local gallery. it is entitled "The Hollowmen and the fine art of detraction". My previous collection "The Farm" explored on of the most important places from my childhood. The Hollowmen collection explores one of the most dominant parts of my young adult life, for better or worse: offices. Several pieces from the show already sold, but you can view them on my website: heatherthecreator.com. I have a BA in Fine Art, live in Colorado, and enjoy making creative paintings that explore my fascination with the imperfection and beauty of fading memories, and the use of landscape and figure to represent both the great and the mundane experiences in my life. I hope you like my art..
