Growing up in the Midwest, I've always loved vibrant autumn leaves. We lived in the middle of nowhere and the wooded area behind our house was left wild and untouched. Left to its own devices, the brightly-colored leaves and haphazard lines of tree branches made that landscape even more beautiful and over-the-top than more pristine, manicured settings. I tried to capture that contrast here.

Artist and author based in Chicago. When I can't express myself through my words, I turn to brushes and paint. Occasionally, out of that chaos something beautiful appears. Those are the pieces I share here. I've already received the gift the Muse intended for me -- now it's time for someone else to benefit from that flash of inspiration.
