This piece is inspired by my love of old world map illustrations and mermaids. The detail and wonderful plant shapes have always intrigued me. This is a color pencil drawing collaged onto an acrylic surface. Lots of UV varnish was applied to give it a sleek look. The artwork is on a stretched canvas block, painted on all 4 sides and comes with picture hanging wire.
