Buy art from the living artists-the dead ones don't need the money! :)
Every creation starts from an emotional impulse and then I build up my technique. I strive to have loose, free flowing strokes of brush. My ultimate goal is for every piece of my art to evoke a sense of connection to the viewer.
Gaya Kairos is an artist who lives and works in Toronto, Canada. Gaya obtained her BA in liberal arts from University of Moscow and upon immigrating to Canada on her own in her early 20’s took training as professional make-up artist at Sheridan College. After working for some time on TV, on advertising photo shoots and in a movie industry, Gaya started painting instinctively and impulsively, while going through some life changing events. Several years and many tried mediums down the road (including sculpture, bronze and ceramics), she realized that her creative practice is not only a form of an art therapy, but a reason for being. Gaya's artwork has been shown in many juried and group shows throughout Toronto and was awarded “Special Merit Award” and “ Special Recognition Award” in 2015 and 2016 by the “Light Time & Space” Magazine. Her work was published in Cerebral Arts Zine and Molempire Magazine. In 2015 Gaya started creating live Synesthetic Art Performances in front of audiences, usually in the galleries. In September 2017 Gaya performed for the Conference for Community Change Leaders at Prince Westin Hotel, Toronto.
