"Shi" is Chinese for lion. The idea came to me after I received my stone chop or stamp. On the top was carved a fu lion. This is my representation of my Shi. This is a monotype created by painting a plastic sheet and them transferring to paper creating a one of a kind painting.

I am going to dedicate this piece to Cecil the lion. All monies that I make on this piece will be donated to the Oxford Wildlife Conservation Research Unit(WildCRU) who were tracking Cecil.

I live and work in New York City. I am constantly looking at movement through space. This gives an organic feel to my works.
