This painting came out of Joy on a spring day. I love the feeling of flying over the earth in my paintings, exploring the patterns of a world view.

I attempt to capture the states and stages of the dynamic energy that surrounds and fills us, constantly shifting and transforming our universes, too small to understand and too vast to comprehend… and recognizing that the patterns of change are the only constant we have.

Artist Bio I started training at The Art Students' League in New York and  continued at the School of Visual Arts in New York, Grove Arts in California.  In early 1994, I co-founded “Urban Desires”... the first online art and culture magazine on the web. Urban Desires allowed me to explore and influence art in its many forms and won numerous awards and worldwide praise.   During this time I exhibited and curated, in places including, The Elga Wimmer Gallery; Thompson Street Gallery; and The Manhattan Childrens Museum. I sat on the Board of Eyebeam Atelier, a Johnson & Johnson funded Arts Organization. At Eyebeam I was instrumental in creating  "Digital Daycamp," an after-school digital arts program working in conjunction with New York City Public High Schools. After a decade I left New York to my children in the country and while there made a successful foray into Interior Design and Real Estate Marketing in Fairfield County, Ct. While in CT my children and I contracted Lyme disease.  Many concussions followed from being sick and loss of balance. My last was when I suffered a traumatic brain injury within the first week my family and I arrived in Colorado.  It wasn't until after that incident while healing that I decided to paint again, full time. "It took a literal knock on the head to bring me clarity of how precious time is in our lives, and how much I want to create in the time I have left!" My work is collected privately and in the corporate and hospitality space. Corporate clients include, Storyvine Inc., Industry Denver, and Conversify and Cultivate Boulder.  I also do a lot of commission work for private clients. I currently live in Denver Co. with my beautiful family and paint in a studio in the yard.
