This large painting on canvas is from a collection of Expressionist paintings I created using lines to create raw forms. By creating a loose grid and overlapping the lines, I played with various shapes to create bold forms, referencing the figure. This piece has a textured surface, created from layers of oil paint, overlapped over time.
