"Roses and palm", mixed media on canvas, 40X40 cm
A delicate romantic floral painting of a bush of roses and palms in soft colors.
Shabby chic spirit, in tones of pinks, yellow green, warm brown, blue green, delicate blue greys.

This flower painting was done in water mixed media : watercolor, watersoluble pencils, inks, acrylics.
The transluscent grey dripping give a contemporary style to the painting.

I love to imagine flowers, foliage, nature. I'm inspired by the plants in my garden. I always keep in mind the beauty and pleasant vision of a decorative and figurative artwork.
In France, we got the french tradition (now it became like a "classical" school painting, due to its historical reputation) of the impressionistic painting. Exploring colors and forms to evocate the nature. Art is an interpretation of the world we see, we feel. It's one of the beautiful and positive inventions of the human mind. Art makes me believe in humankind ...

I am a french professional painter.  All my artworks are original paintings and drawings, direct from my studio in Touraine. For as long as I can remember, I have always painted and drew. I have studied experimental cinema and engraving at the Institut d'Arts Visuels of Orléans, France. My favorite practice, in cinema, was to draw the story-boards ! I get an Art School High Diploma in 1989. I began painting in 1994. I regularly exhibit my painting in collective or solo shows. I also often participate (and win) in big size painting compétitions, in France. I am also a lyrical mezzo singer in the professionnal choir from Opera of Tours, France.
