As a child I loved to play soldiers: Indians and cowboys. Here is one of them.
Picture from the mini series "Toys".
The painting is made on plywood with a thickness of 8 mm.

I was born in 1980. Live and work in Vologda, Russia. In the past I have studied architecture and worked as an architect for 10 years. Now I am engaged only in painting. The direction in which I work, I define as "Rodionovskaya painting". This style is a peculiar combination of Russian folk pictures, medieval miniatures, comic strip, poster, and my childhood memories, passions and Hobbies. The choice of subjects for my paintings I can explain what I try to look at the world around us through the eyes of an adult child. Adult, because I already have enough life experience and knowledge, and the child, because I don't want to stop to enjoy what is happening, laugh at him , to make jokes and play pranks. In my work I use tempera and acrylic. The paintings I create on canvas and wooden surfaces. In parallel, I create a painted wooden sculpture in the same style "Rodionovskaya painting".
