Ready to Hang
This is a calming watercolor painting. The orange square give a nice focal point and because it's abstract, it can be hung in any direction that suits you and your space. It reminds some people of the sun in the sky.
Teacher and painter Elizabeth B. Tucker began drawing and painting when her husband gave her an easel as a gift. Seeking a classical tradition, she studied at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art (LAAFA), Art Center College of Design, and privately with Ryan Wurmser, Aaron Westerberg. Whether working in oils or in charcoal, Elizabeth is interested primarily in how light moves and wraps around objects. Elizabeth is a juried member of the Pasadena Society of Artists and Women Painters West, a Certified Instructor in the School of Colour, and is the president of the Angeles Crest Art Guild. She has won several awards for her work.
