When people asks me what is your favorite color, Etian? I would say “All of them”! Really? It is hard to believe. But I do. I find every color has its own unique beauty and I am fascinated with the colors after mixing a couple or a few. Sometimes, I just play with my brush and let the imagination take its flight and dance with the colors. Yes! Sometimes I do dance and sing when I paint.

Etian Huang has loved drawing and painting since he could hold a pencil and brush. He paints his dreams, imaginations, and “what his brain tells him.” In 2013, he had his solo exhibitions- Imagine Images in DC Metropolitan area. His works have been shown in local and international art galleries and museums such as The Gallery at National Children’s Hospital in Washington D.C., Rochester Contemporary Art Center in New York, Harrisburg Fine Arts Gallery in PA, Potomac Library in Maryland, Arlington Art Gallery in Virginia, The Morris Graves Museum of Art in California, Richmond Art Gallery in Canada, China Yan Huang Art Museum in Beijing. His work “Colorful Waterfalls” won an Award of Outstanding in the 2nd Worldwide Chinese Fine Art and Calligraphy Exhibition in Dec. 2014.
