This is a complicated emotion to explain. Some people may just call it a happy tear. For me, I painted this piece because I wanted to grab the strangest emotion I felt. The moment of pure bliss and joy, then suddenly sad and overwhelmed because of my dark path in comparison of what I was feeling at this moment. I was sadden by the fact that I had to suffer growing up, that being happy because I was enjoying the moment, and it so much easier to be happy by the simple things. So this is how I would describe Delight in a painting. Happiness after the dark storm.
This unique canvas was made with linen and designed for watercolors which is why I fell in love with this style of canvas. So it does not need to be framed and the inch and half depth frame is painted as well. No frames needed.
