As a painter, musician and graphic designer; I find that the creative process is very much the same over all of these mediums. The method that works for me is to not follow formula or convention, but to step back from where I have been and allow that sum to carry me into the next experience. I have had little formal training for painting, music or graphic design. I am not a schooled learner, for better or worse. I currently have 60+ paintings for sale through my company above, 100+ original indie rock songs available under the artist name Sleeping Dogs Lie on my music sites across the web. 100% of all cd / download / streaming sales of my music have gone to various charities which you can also read about on my website. Finally, I have worked as a graphic designer over the last 15 years with a variety of clients to help create branding success for businesses big and small.

I was born in Winter Park, Florida in 1967. I lived most of my live in South Florida... All over Palm Beach County. After traveling extensively thoughout the U.S., I really fell in love with New Mexico. I would find myself enamored with the culture, pace & the serene light of the high desert. Georgia O'Keefe certainly figured that out long ago. There is a strong artistic culture in New Mexico and it is fostered by its community. The town of Santa Fe, which is just 60 miles north of Albuquerque, has a population of only about 50,000 people, but is the third largest destination for art sales in the U.S. I really love living away from the crush of the east coast. I used to live near the Atlantic Ocean, but rarely went to the beach. It was alway just there, so... eh. Now, when we visit, the beach is a treat. I have found that as I sell more and more art, I feel more embedded in the State and community and I look forward to creating as long as I can. I hope that you have found your "place," because if you have any doubts, you should search it out. It is so worth it in the end. Thank you for reading and checking out my art work! I really appreciate it. Enjoy!
