The reason I chose the title for this piece because you can see two birds on separate trees longing for each other.

I created this piece using spray bottles mixed with water and acrylic. I didn't like how the paint was coming out, but when I sat back and looked at it, I was happy. I was going to keep it just with the splatter, but later I put in the trees and moon, and then at the last minute, decided to paint some birds.

My inspiration in creating this piece was thinking back to when my wife and I met in an avocado grove. I saw her from afar, and we both met gazes, but I was too shy to talk to her. We met again, one year later, and we've been together for almost 14 years.

I loved painting this, and I hope you love it enough to put it on your wall. Thank you for looking.

Hi. My name is Eric Barnes. Everything I do, I do for my wife and daughter. They are my angels. Painting is so fun and relaxing. I get so much pleasure from it, and I get so excited when I finish a piece, knowing that someone will be putting it on their wall. Thank you for looking, and I hope you will like my art.
