Interesting texture and bold colors, I did 5 pieces in this series of Orient Dancer which inspiration came from reading a Chinese novel that story was about life in the forbidden palace, based on the description of a performance of one concubine of the monarch and I put my interpretation on canvas. The paintings has all sides painted in the continual colors, surface coated with gloss varnish for protection, the back is tightly strung with wire and ready to be hung.
