"Infinite Gameboard" is a "Dreamtime" Painting, which is about our subconscious, creative thoughts and connecting to universal powers. Painted on handmade Indian paper.
My art emerges from a search for healing, transformation and catharsis. My paintings (both on paper and canvas) sculptures and poems depict the inner road, from confusion and pain to moments of triumph and beauty. My main aim is to open up avenues for understanding and experiencing personal transformation. I want to organize chaos and turn it into growth by representing the invisible forces of change through creating visual equations of shape, color, texture and juxtapositions of familiar and unfamiliar objects. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Fine Arts degree in 2010, where I studied under Richard Yarde and Jerry Kearns. My work has been exhibited, among others, at Denise Bibro Fine Art, New York City, The Barnes Gallery in Leverett, MA and The Herter Gallery in Amherst, MA.
