In "Moon Beam Palms" I wanted to convey a glimpse into a new world of timeless charm and simplicity through the mystery of night.
My name is Ellen French. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I am a 3rd generation Californian currently living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. I began painting and drawing at an early age, deciding upon a career in the arts in high school. During the first year of college, my formal art education was disrupted by the death of my parents leaving me with other obligations. However, I continued to pursue my artistic interests on my own. I always considered my main interest to be painting but expanded my education by taking printmaking classes at U.C.L.A. and exploring different mediums and subjects on my own. Through artist representation, my artwork is now included in numerous corporate and private collections, including the U.S. State Department, the Pentagon, and the Makuhari-Messe Convention Center in Toyko, Japan. Through my affiliation with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art rental gallery I have sold over 70 pieces of art.
