Ever have a pair of shoes that feel so good you want to wear them everywhere? That was this pair of Converse. Only now they have a hole in the sole. Such beauty in everyday items; love the creamy canvas color of the shoes and the blue/purple light of cast shadows.
While I call myself a figurative painter, I also enjoy abstraction in the form of pure raw marks left by charcoal or reckless strokes of paint. Order and chaos make for a balanced painting, at least that is what I strive to create.

Elizabeth is in love with English Bulldogs and contributes regularly to Georgia English Bulldog Rescue. A great source of joy is a career of teaching art to Pre-School, Elementary and Middle School Students.
