Life is spent trying to make order. As humans we excel at pattern recognition and devote time to organizing and cataloguing objects as well as ideas. We rely on our imperfect senses and fragile memories to build our own narratives and ideologies. I utilize domestic objects, knitting patterns, and DNA sequences as personal symbols for constructing meaning in a world that is chaotic and absurd.
