This is my tribute to Mick Jagger. He is timeless and forever young in spirit. I love the Rolling Stones and as front man, he is amazing to watch as he struts his stuff on stage. Gotta love those lips!
Being a shy person, I used art as a way to communicate during my youth. I found color and humor were my strengths. Getting noticed, even though it terrified me. In the mid 1980's (during my early twenties) I moved to Paris with my fiancé and not having a work permit, I found myself frequenting museums all the time, drawing furiously, trying to stay warm and avoiding the striking metro trains. Upon my return, I took up the airbrush and was self taught. I applied to Art Center College of Design and was accepted. I was classically trained in Illustration and graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in 1996. I went on to have a fruitful career as a digital designer/Art Director for many years. I decided to go back to painting after a long hiatus. Life is good.
