Ready to Hang

The many rich orange and red tones mixed together lapping over each other (with a little spot of black and yellow) almost glows like a planet. There is loads of paint in this piece and deep textures which are so important to me; I can express what I am going through via texture. The crevices of thick paint are saying so much and I hope when you look at it that you may find your own journey of sorts. You can hang this as is or have shadow box framed which would look very striking. The sides are painted black. Thank you for viewing and reading about my work. xx

Here is a little about me; Elizabeth has been painting for many years now and her bold colorful art can be seen hanging in homes and offices all over the world. Originally from Australia and now based in Los Angeles, Elizabeth aims to create art which decorates a space and most importantly gives the viewer a memorable experience. Each painting shares her life expressed on to the canvas with emotion and passion through layers and layers of texture. Elizabeth has found that painting can be an arduous yet worthwhile mental process and is inspired by simply seeing a certain color combination and with urgency begins a new piece. From there the paint is moved around the open canvas and evolves as she is lost in that space and is never more elated than stepping back and knowing that magic has occurred and the piece is ready to share. Art is what Elizabeth needs so as to breathe and painting weaves its way in to her every living moment.
