Ready to Hang

This painting contains all different shades of green paint applied to a 6x4ft canvas. To me it is full of life and lusciousness. Green is my all time lifelong color obsession and on this piece I wanted only greens; no white or other color mixers. There is lots of texture and in certain lights you can discover new tones and sheens. I had the painting framed in a beautiful natural blonde wood shadow box. There is also a sister piece in orange; same size and concept along with the blonde framing. Please make contact to request photos which show the frame.

Here is a little about me; Elizabeth has been painting for many years now and her bold colorful art can be seen hanging in homes and offices all over the world. Originally from Australia and now based in Los Angeles, Elizabeth aims to create art which decorates a space and most importantly gives the viewer a memorable experience. Each painting shares her life expressed on to the canvas with emotion and passion through layers and layers of texture. Elizabeth has found that painting can be an arduous yet worthwhile mental process and is inspired by simply seeing a certain color combination and with urgency begins a new piece. From there the paint is moved around the open canvas and evolves as she is lost in that space and is never more elated than stepping back and knowing that magic has occurred and the piece is ready to share. Art is what Elizabeth needs so as to breathe and painting weaves its way in to her every living moment.
