Ready to Hang
I created this painting these past few weeks whilst going through a particular difficulty and the main thing I can only think of is that one must have hope and thats how I feel when I look at this piece hence the title. The canvas is heavily loaded with paint and is a essentially a beautiful mess of gorgeous colors and textures. The sides are painted black which creates a lovely border of strength. It can be hung as is but would look amazing in a floater frame if you have the budget to take it to your local framer.
Here is a little about me; Elizabeth has been painting for many years now and her bold colorful art can be seen hanging in homes and offices all over the world. Originally from Australia and now based in Los Angeles, Elizabeth aims to create art which decorates a space and most importantly gives the viewer a memorable experience. Each painting shares her life expressed on to the canvas with emotion and passion through layers and layers of texture. Elizabeth has found that painting can be an arduous yet worthwhile mental process and is inspired by simply seeing a certain color combination and with urgency begins a new piece. From there the paint is moved around the open canvas and evolves as she is lost in that space and is never more elated than stepping back and knowing that magic has occurred and the piece is ready to share. Art is what Elizabeth needs so as to breathe and painting weaves its way in to her every living moment. Selected Exhibitions: Gus Harper Studios Venice, USA, 2011 The Prince Melbourne, Australia, 2005
