This painting is part of my growing series of fruit. Painted in a light abstract impressionist style. This is painted on a sturdy piece of canvas paper and will fit perfectly into an 11x14 frame. You have the choice to use the matting (8x10 window), or frame it as viewed in this image (this is my preferred method).

“Paint for f*cking paint” as an old professor told me. To this date the statement still holds true in my work. I paint simply for the sake of painting while capturing a moment full of color and expression. In the end I strive to achieve my goal that every inch of the painting needs to be interesting. I'm a painter currently living in Portland Oregon. Between web design and painting I spend a good deal of my time working with the arts. My current motivation is to paint at least two full paintings each week while trying to improve my style and expression with each new piece.
